Guided by the wisdom of traditional herb craft and the magic of auld mystic medicines. Crafted with wild-harvested, raw, and organic ingredients, including vibrant leaves, fragrant petals, potent flower extracts, and pure botanical oils.
Unapologetically Analog. We craft our skin potions slowly and with the utmost care, using the purest and most wholesome ingredients. Wild gathered from hedgerows and tenderly dried from the rafters in our crofters' cottage. No automation, no machines. Simple hand tools, carved wooden spoons, an heirloom mortar and pestle of worn stone, and pruning shears of burnished brass stored in a whitewashed antique baker's cabinet in our stillroom. We embrace the old ways—time-honoured methods of creating unguents and ointments with healing herbs and oils.
We recognize the stolen land on which our studio resides as the traditional territory of the Attawandaron, the Huron-Wendat Nation, the Anishinabewaki, the Haudenosaunee, the Tionontati, the Odawa, the Grand River Métis Council, and the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. We will forever hold space for our deepest gratitude and appreciation of the Indigenous peoples who have worked and lived on this sacred ground since time immortal.
A grassroots apothecary and herb craft studio creating artisan care potions in the heart of Wellington County. A plant witch and potion maker, weaving spells with healing herbals in the wild woods. A workshop filled with soothing scents of drying lemon balm, blooming yarrow, wild rue, and marshmallow root, slowly infusing in oils warmed by sunlight streaming through whitewashed windows, surrounded by ancient stone.
We gather by hand fragrant herbs and flowers from wild forests, fields, and fecund garden patches on our small farmstead picked sparingly with celestial influences and sustainability in mind. Additional botanicals are procured from bio-dynamic, ethical harvesters, local farms, and fellow herbalists.
Our offerings are thoughtfully and passionately brought to life by hedge-witch potion maker and adept folk-herbalist Dominique Del Col. Bottled by hand in the charming botanical stillroom of a rural stone cottage, built in 1880 for use as a crofters barn and carriage house.
Each preparation is made using only sustainably and ethically sourced ingredients. Every element is 100% plant-based, except for our beautiful, locally harvested beeswax and raw honey from a small, off-grid farm in Wellington County. We formulate our blends in tiny batches to ensure the highest quality and hand select our botanicals for their time-honoured mastery in the art of healing. Our labels are printed on recycled pulp paper and applied using biodegradable adhesive for trouble-free removal to encourage thoughtful future use.
The heart of our work is deeply rooted in the ancestral magic of herb craft, carried forth through centuries by wise women, beatons, witches, and folk healers. We practice celestially guided seed sowing and moon-minded harvesting.
Every product we craft will always be cruelty-free and contain no sulphates, synthetics, artificial fragrances, petroleum, GMO ingredients, gluten, formaldehyde, preservatives, or manufactured colours.
